2012 Yeosu Expo Lighthouse Competition

Design motif of the lighthouse is Korean traditional wood window/door frame with paper. The grid of the window/door form rigid structure for paper and the infill of the opening. The paper functions as a blind and a wind breaker but let air in through the paper.

The window/door grid is divided by two parts to be a gate on each side of breakwall at the entrance of the harbor.

Vertical axis wind turbine could be spun by wave.

Pixel Light: The light can make a simple symbol or logo on its structure. It can provide communication method between a harbor, people and boats.
