This is a competition entry for a mixed-use high rise building in Semiahmoo, Surrey, BC, Canada. The main concept is a mountain which rosed from city grid. The bump transformed to allow space for public square. The square will have public events like concert or flee market. The partial square space will be covered with the mountain shaped structure. The covered space will make people get together so that it will boost social activities in existing commercial area, Semiahmoo. Site area: 7,350 square meter
Building area: 22,197 square meter
10 story building: 2 levels commercial, 8 levels residential and 2 levels underground parking
